Mixing my two forms of expression together with art and music, this monotype and copper etching print represents my interpretation of the beautiful but haunting jazz chart "Braided Together" by Maria Schneider. This was created by using monotype ink and mineral spirits to make the colored background, then reprinting the black lines over the top using copper etching.
